I bought this for my grand daughter as I had had one for my kids. The other tubs for babies had them reclinging and at 10 months I wanted my grand daughter to be able to sit up and play. It works great!!

we found the bath ring to be very helpful for our squirmy and playful 8 month old - she can safely party in the bath tube without us worrying she will hit her head! you have to press the ring back down into position once you have filled the tub with water, but it is very easy to use. and yes, washing the diaper area is a little tricky, but considering the options it is a great solution.
