The Worst Coffee Pot EVER! July 25, 2008 P. Charles (Spokane, WA USA) My wife worked at Starbucks and we bought this from her Starbucks store. It looked nice and we thought Kitchen Aid made good products. It is extremely difficult to clean. On many occassions coffee grounds have clogged it and subsequently coffee doesn't go into the pot and overflows. This has happened on many occassions, it happened just now and that is why I am writing this review. I had a Braun coffee maker and never had this problem. It is somewhat wasteful. Because the pot is insulated, you have to run warm water through it to heat it up. Most importantly, it makes an inconsistent cup of coffee. We have changed the water filter but it still makes coffee with a funny taste. It isn't user error, it is the coffee maker. Bottom line, don't buy this coffee maker! You will be extremely disappointed.
What a coffeemaker! April 21, 2008 Pat (Santa Fe NM) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Kitchen Aid coffeemaker has surpassed my expectations. Superb schematics, and decent coffee flavor. One can taste the beans! Great product. Easy to program and easy to clean.
Kitchen Aid Coffee Maker April 5, 2008 C. Renfro 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
The item is in good condition and runs well. It arrived about a week later than the expected arrival date stated.
sending it back February 24, 2008 Kmac (Illinois) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Getting ready to send it back for a replacement for the second time. Coffee maker brews great but after a few weeks, fails to complete the brew cycle and leaves the water in the tank. This can't be limited to mine as this is the second one we have had in three months with the same exact problem....
I LOVE this coffeemaker. January 1, 2008 Bill A. Holcombe (Summerville, SC USA) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
I only have one hand; so a simple to use coffeemaker makes the most sense to me. When adding water or coffee to this coffeemaker it stays open as long as needed. No messing with paper filters, just rinse the metal and add water and grounds. The not so simple added feature - timed warmer displays - is great, I can now tell the freshness of a particular pot of coffee.
