5 out of 5 stars perfect!   December 18, 2007

I love this kettle. It works great and has a nice, loud whistle. I read a review that the spout leaked while warming, but if you don't overfill it, you shouldn't have a problem. I've purchased a second for my in-laws.

3 out of 5 stars Topic Teakettle   March 23, 2007

This teakettle is adequate but has the drawback that if you do not dry it very carefully, it can get pitted inside by water drops standing in it. It is hard to dry since the handle is stationery and does not move. I personally would have preferred a moveable handle. I was unaware that this one was not when I purchased the kettle. The whistle is nice and the top fits tightly. I would call it a three star kettle. When I need another, I will look for a different one.

3 out of 5 stars no so shiney   March 12, 2007

I bought this item to go with my pink kitchen, This item would be great except it it almost impossible to keep the shine it. It whistles really loud, I love it. The pink part on the handle is a rubber material and if you get any thing on it it does stain. this item would be great for decor but not practicle for use if you want it to stay shiney and pink.

4 out of 5 stars nice with a few flaws   February 10, 2007

A good looking tea kettle and seems to be quite sturdy, though I've only had it a few weeks. Not heavy, but dense enough to make you feel it won't ever burn through. The water has to boil like crazy in order for the whistle to get going, so you might wait longer than necessary if you're listening for that sound. The only real disappointment: there's a device connected to the spout that's constructed to seem as if you can flip it and it'll keep the spout open while you pour. But you end up having to hold that open with your finger anyway. Otherwise a fine and aesthetically nifty item.
