Product Description The KitchenAid 7-cup food processor is ideal for couples who don't really need a larger food processor - it works equally well, affording you a little more cabinet space yet offering you the same features as the larger models. This food processor comes with two work bowls - a 7-cup and a 3-cup mini-sized bowl (with its own mini blade) for smaller jobs like mincing garlic or chopping herbs. The food processor comes with a full-size feed tube and pusher. The entire length of the feed tube can be filled with food; the pusher gently guides potatoes, carrots or celery through the tube for slicing or shredding. Included with your food processor is a multi-purpose blade (it chops, minces, blends and emulsifies) and a 2-mm slicing blade that creates even slices of fruits and vegetables - reverse it and it makes uniform, 4-mm shreds of fruits, vegetables and cheese. The food processor comes with a powerful motor, a clean-touch control pad, a locking lid and a Pulse control so you can control the length of cutting or slicing process so those sliced tomatoes don't end up being a sauce instead. Also included with your KitchenAid food processor is a spatula for scraping down the sides of the bowl and a tool for cleaning. The ultra-durable, polycarbonate work bowls are built to last, are stain-resistant and dishwasher-safe. The blades, discs and accessories are also dishwasher-safe.

Great size an ease of use. This model is sturdy & replaces a Wolfgang Puck food processor that is of inferior quality.Very pleased so far and pro Kitchen Aid, we own a hand mixer and a counter top mixer that is almost 35 years old with never a problem. Of course dark avocado is no longer a desirable color. con- a citrus juicer is available only in 9-cup and larger, bummer.

I have never owned a full-size food processor, so I don't have any comparisons to make; but I am really pleased with my purchase of this one. It is very quiet and does a wonderful job, with very easy cleanup. It is a little heavy, so I decided it better just to leave it out on the counter - and it looks nice there. I think the best thing I like about this machine is that it is so user-friendly. Just a quick look at the instruction book, and it was ready to use, even for a novice like me.
