Product Description A long tall silhouette and heavy base give these glasses elegance, but the etched designs are what give them panache.. Spirals, stripes, and polka dots distinguish each glass from its sibling. This will help when it comes time for guests to identify their own drink too! Very hip, lots of fun, chin chin!
Amazon.com Review Usher in summer in style with these tall coolers from Mikasa. The Cheers set features 4 glasses, each etched with a different design so there's no confusing one guest's iced tea from another's Long Island tea. An enveloping swirl, dots rising like bubbles, horizontal pinstripes, and vertical stripes all add up to a party atmosphere. Holding a generous 19 ounces each, the high ball glasses are made in France and should be washed by hand to ensure longevity. --Ann Bieri

alright product May 11, 2007 Ross A. Fenton 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This review is all opinion. they are heavy and need to spread hand wide to grasp these and use. I bought the Luigi Bormioli set and prefier them. They make good gifts! :-)
Good old times. March 1, 2007 Ana Luiza Welch (Kingston, OK USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are big beautiful glasses. The swirls, dots and stripes engraved on the glasses give them a vintage look. They remind me of good old days spent at my grandma's house in the summer, back when life was carefree and time would run slow... Lazy afternoons drinking lemonade out of glasses similar to these. This memories always bring a smile to my face and I'm happy to be able to bring that part of my past back, every time I use these glasses.

They got here fine even tho they didn't exactly stay put in the box. You may want to pack them a bit better in the future.
Cheers! to Mikasa Highball 19 ounce Glasses January 3, 2007 Pat. Keplar 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These are so wonderful, I ordered more sets! The swirls, dots and other designs are not only lovely and fun, they give the glasses a 'grip'; being of "a certain age" these things become important. We drink iced tea all year and these are the glasses we want, the 19 oz. capacity is more than most and perfect for this use. There were some shipping problems, some sailed through and others arrived out of their product box and broken. I noticed as the holidays approached, the breakage increased. I believe the breakage was due to UPS poor handling.
Beautiful glasses- bad packing. December 5, 2006 msredhd (Orange County, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Not Amazon's fault! My first shipment was damaged at UPS-- and without missing a beat-- Amazon replaced it. They missed my dinner party-- but I wanted them anyway. And I am glad they came. They are just beautiful. Very nice quality! But with all my complements-- Mikasa should be shot for the shotty packaging! No wonder they broke at UPS. The vendor box had no reinforcement and the glasses easily slipped out of their little cardboard partitions. I will think twice about buying another Mikasa product close to the date I want to use them. Calculate time for them to break and be re-sent to you.
