Product Description A short stocky silhouette and heavy base give these glasses presence, but the etched designs are what give them panache.. Spirals, stripes, and polka dots distinguish each glass from its sibling. This will help when it comes time for guests to identify their own drink too! Very hip, lots of fun, chin chin!
Amazon.com Review Guests cheerfully toast in style with this set of four double old-fashioned glasses. These four different designs help to distinguish drinks, adding a whimsical touch to a party and making a fun gift for any celebration. Each crystal glass features a uniquely appealing pattern etched into the surface, including an encircling swirl, fine horizontal pinstripes, vertical lines, and polka dots. Generous portions of 11-1/2-ounces of mixed drinks and a wide range of refreshing beverages fill this oversized barware. Matching décors from classy to classic, this crystal coordinates with the entire line of Mikasa's Cheers collection of stemware. Hand washing is recommended with these French imports. --Roberta Cruger

These SUCK! May 10, 2008 Jagruti Patel (Redwood City, CA) I've gone through 3 sets of these glasses, all of which broke. Thank goodness I got them through bed bath and beyond--they happily took them back! They do look good, but they break too easily. All types of glasses in this style is a no go. You're welcome to try them and if you do, get them from BBB so that you can return them when they break on you in a month.
Dissatisfied Customer December 16, 2007 Eileen A. Tyler 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have purchased two sets of these glasses because I like the size. In both instances, they have all cracked in a relatively short time of purchase, with the exception of two of the designs. I think the etching is to intense, therefore making the glass very fragile despite its weight. I would not buy them again, and have a complaint in to the manufacturer.
Sturdy and Adorable August 21, 2007 Anne G (East Hartford, CT) The 50's modern design is just adorable! Another reviewer thought the heavy weight of the glasses was a negative, but that is what I like about them. I don't worry about breaking them with every little tap.
Heavy May 11, 2007 Ross A. Fenton 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
too heavy in coparison to other brands. This review is all opinion. they are heavy and need to spread hand wide to grasp these and use. I bought the Luigi Bormioli set and prefier them. They make good gifts! :-)
Very pretty everyday glasses. May 6, 2007 Gail Hicks (Armada, MI USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These are pretty to look at, but also very sturdy. The base is weighty enough to keep the glass very stable. They aren't fancy crystal, but really great for everyday use. The variety of patterns makes YOUR glass a lot easier to identify in a crowd, too!
