Product Description
Not just a pretty face but a serious whisk for all kinds of sauces: deglazing, gravies, white sauce. A must have for puddings in non-stick cookware. It really gets foods stirred on the bottom and lower sides of the pot.

I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS WHISK TO REPLACE ONE I PURCHASED 9 YEARS AGO FROM PAMPERED CHEF - IT'S QUITE A BIT BIGGER SO I DEBATED WHETHER TO PURCHASED IT OR NOT SINCE I GENERALLY USED THE OLD ONE TO WHISK UP EGGS AND THE LIKE. ONE THING IN FAVOR OF IT IS THAT IT ISN'T METAL SO YOU CAN USE IT ON NONSTICK SURFACES WITHOUT FEAR OF SCRATCHING - I DID NOTICE IT DOESN'T HAVE THE SAME WEIGHT OR FEEL AS THE METAL WHISKS - I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE BUT SOMETIMES THE FEEL OF THE EQUIPMENT I'M USING CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE - ALSO IT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE AS STURDY AS THE METAL ONES - BUT OF COURSE NYLON IS LIGHTER AND PERHAPS THAT'S WHAT GIVES ME THAT IMPRESSION - I GUESS ONLY TIME WILL TELL HOW WELL THIS ITEM WILL HOLD UP .

I bought this instead of the Pampered Chef version. It was much less expensive since Pampered Chef only has their nylon whisk in a package with another nylon spatula. I was a little disappointed to find the spiral part of the whisk is a detachable thin piece of curled plastic. The handle was thinner than Pamp Chef as well. Buy it for function, not quality.
