 Nice but has a problem September 7, 2008

It arrived fast and it's really nice to look at. The problem I found is that when you use it in the stands that have backs on them already it seems to push you forward. Also the tubing that frames its is felt through the cushioning and is not comfortable. I ended up folding it down and sitting on top of it, which was fine. It really is good looking though.

The chair arrived and was just what I expected, although it took longer to get here than I expected, but I plan on using it during football season so that was OK..

I work for the manufacturer of these products. The Hard Arm Stadium seat shown is not permitted in nearly 95% of the tracks. Last Friday, this information was sent to NASCAR and all the licensees by the two companies that own the tracks, ISC and SMI. Up to that point, they made no mention of this ruling.
Soft-side stadium seats are allowed, as long as they are no wider than 18". You can find these seats on this site.
The Hard Arm seats can still be used at private stadiums, soccer/football/baseball fields, and other bench-type seating events. Always call the NASCAR track before trying to take a seat to the race.

Talk about a rip off. Buy these seats and YOU CAN'T USE THEM AT THE TRACKS!!!
I bought 2 to use at Lowes and Daytona. 2 weeks ago I go to Lowes, these aren't allowed in the track, because of the arms. I call Daytona, NOPE can't be brought into that track either. People at the tracks say to call NASCAR. I call NASCAR, they say they don't control what tracks do and it isn't their problem. I call Amazon and they won't refund my money, after selling me a USELESS item.
So, officially licensed products, sold for a specific purpose can not be used for that purpose. And nobody thinks they should be accountable for it.
WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!!!
Way to go NASCAR, Amazon and International Speedway Corporation.
