Product Description For the first time a Thermos Bottle in the original SIGG Design. Double walled made out of high quality stainless steel. SIGG concepted the bottle in such a way as to prevent the customer from drinking anything too hot or too cold. If the bottle is too hot refrain from drinking untii bottle is lukewarm.

Great bottle! October 11, 2008 I. S. Laffoon (Irwin, PA) I love this bottle! I have not tried using it for hot beverages, but it keeps cold beverages chilled for a long time. Plus, water tastes great from it. My only complaint at all would be the small mouth which requires the use of a brush to scrub the inside. That small inconvenience is worth it though.
A disappointment October 8, 2008 K. Arnett (Kansas City) I purchased the Sigg Hot & Cool Water Bottle to keep liquids hot, like my coffee. I should have paid more attention to a previous reviewer's comment mentioning that the outside of the bottle becomes warm. In deed, the outside of the bottle does become warm, and my coffee becomes luke warm. This bottle cannot keep coffee warm for even an hour.
metallic taste May 29, 2008 A. Marince (San Jose, California United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was really disappointed with this bottle because, unlike my regular cold liquids only Sigg bottle, it smelled and tasted like metal and I had to send it back. I'm afraid to try another one. Plus, I bought those fizzy cleaning tablets and I'm not sure if that caused it to taste like metal or this particular bottle was defective or what but I'm sending those back too. All around bad experience which sucks because I love my other regular Sigg so much (even though they get damaged so easily).
Hot is Heavy May 19, 2008 R. O'Donnell (penfield, NY United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Had to get a new water bottle cause of the stink about #7 plastics, though I LOVED my old nalgene bottle. Picked this one cause you could drink hot or cold from it and stainless steel seems like an incontrovertible material that can NEVER be sullied by anything like teratogeneticity or neurotoxicity. And I like it pretty well. BUT it is pretty heavy! I've decided this may be a good thing: feel pretty certain it could be used as a deadly weapon in self defense or to break the windows out of my car should I ever find my self submerged in it under the river. Maybe it ads calories to my daily walk, and I could probably do little tricep curls with it. AlSO I wish it had as many cool options for decor as the lined aluminum ones. One thing I really miss about my old bottle is it was so cute! There are only like 3 options for hot and cold, and none of them are cute. I must say though, that nothing beats being able to pour my cup of tea into it and take it along. The outside warms up just enough to be sweet for cold hands too:).
Must have May 4, 2008 Feeva (San Mateo) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Love it. Light weight and the size is slightly bigger than regular water bottle. It does not take up your whole purse space (unless you have a small purse). It is leak proof. I always toss it in my bag, catch the train, get to work, and my bag is still dry. I won't recommend sports top though. I have one and every time I use it, I feel like a little hamster trying to get water out of the water bottle. However, I do recommend the little loop thing that holds your screw cap and the bottle together so you wont have to worry about losing your caps all the time.
