Product Description Safer Drinking Containers * Glass-like, non-porous material- No leaching of plastic taste * Re-use again and again- Help ease landfill overflow! * Easy to clean with diluted vinegar, baking soda or tap water. * Durable- No heat or cold distortion Available in these colors: Smoke, Lavender, Blue, Hot Pink, Neon Orange, Neon Yellow, Neon Green & Mint Please also see the BIG DRINK Cap for polycarbonate bottles (sold separately). Water ? Especially purified water ? will draw chemicals from the containers in which it is stored. This leaching process degrades the taste and purity of bottles water. Recent developments have made possible Polycarbonate Bottles which are second only to glass in offering the highest purity and the greatest resistance to leaching. The great advantage of Polycarbonate over glass is that it is lightweight ? 10% of the weight of glass ? and yet it can be easily made in a variety of shapes and sizes with handles for convenient transport. These bottles are durable and will not distort or rupture in hot weather like PVC bottles. This is the polycarbonate niche, "lighter than glass, best of all plastics.? Recycle Codes for Plastic Bottles In order to determine whether a plastic bottle is polycarbonate or not, you?ll need to locate the "recycle code? on the bottom of the bottle ? Look for the triangle with a single digit number inside. The number inside the triangle indicates the type of material from which the bottle is made. Polycarbonate is #7.

No thought has gone into drinking from this bottle. It holds liquid but you have extreme difficulty drinking from it.
not all it cracked up to be June 15, 2008 M. Bird (San Diego, Ca) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I wanted to get on the "green" wave and use an eco-friendly water bottle. This one seemed to have good reviews. I was disappointed when I got the product because it is really hard to "suck" the water out of the top. I have finally given up and take off the cap to drink from it. Also it was said to be leak-proof. This is not true. You have to keep the bottle upright to keep it from leaking.
