| Customer Reviews:
Nicely made, quite durable and holds a lot January 14, 2007 Jim (Virginia, USA) I bought this on clearance at one of the sporting good giants to use primarily for camping gear in the back of my pickup or for family trips in the back of the SUV. As with most Mountainsmith products, the quality is good. The large charcoal bag is quite capable of holding 4 fully loaded gear bags. The individual gear bags are well made and the stitching is solid. These are not cheaply made nylon children's toy bags but very nice products. The lids are a flexible reinforced vinyl type material which, according to the package, resist water. The zippers are top notch. My kit came with a bonus 5th bag, which although the cargo system only holds 4, fits nicely in the extra cab space of my truck. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is the price. At full retail, it is a bit expensive for what amounts to a series of nice nylon bags. And for the price, the cargo carrier should have come with a shoulder strap - it is available for an extra cost via the mfr. I think lugging a fully loaded carrier without it would be very hard. If you can get this kit for $50-60, you will be very happy with your purchase. Jim in VA
