Product Description Featuring three stretchable cords of varying resistance (light, medium, heavy), this workout kit also includes two comfortable handles that easily attach to the cords and a 30-minute TriCord Total Body Workout DVD. On the DVD, expert instructors demonstrate exercises that combine stretching, strengthening, and cardio conditioning for non-impact workouts at three skill levels. About Gaiam Gaiam was created as a lifestyle company with the vision that, given a choice, people would choose a lifestyle that is healthy and life enhancing, for themselves, their families and the Earth. The Gaiam lifestyle is a vote for individual health as well as the future sustainability of the Earth's resources. Gaiam strives to provide customers with alternatives to traditional products by offering natural, eco-friendly or healthy versions that compare with the style, quality and price of conventional products. Gaiam's goal is to become the trusted source and unifying brand for Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) participants. They understand that the opportunity to affect people's lives with information and products is both a privilege and a responsibility. Gaiam believes in the concept of Conscious Commerce, the practice of making purchasing decisions based on personal values and beliefs. Don't Buy This!!! November 7, 2008 G. Pece (washington D.C.) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a relatively active and healthy runner, 36 at the time of using this. The deep knee lunges actually were the catalyst for a knee injury that has lasted a year. DO NOT DO THESE EXERCISES. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT unless you want to injure your knee(s).
Great deal, great quality September 9, 2008 R. Carandang (Costa Mesa, CA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The tricord is a great product. It comes with a DVD workout video. My wife wanted to find resistence bands for light workouts and some of the other products out there only had one handle for 3 bands. These bands all have their own handles with three different resistence: light, medium, heavy. Great for a nice quick little workout. My only gripe is that certain exercises on the DVD require you to wrap the bands around your hand to increase resistence, but the bands are too short in some exercises or too long in others. Minor gripe.
