Nice pair of binoculars! January 7, 2009 Bruce A. Symes (Iola, Kansas) This pair of binoculars has the power of larger, more expensive models in a compact set. Came with a case. Arrived quickly.
Try it, You'll like it! January 6, 2009 Doris M. Stead (Greer, SC USA) I purchased this set of binoculars for may husband as a gift and he loves them. They are easy to manage in using them. He can see the birds, he so dearly loves and can identify them readily. I use them also. Good buy!
Great product, flimsy attachments December 26, 2008 H. J. Groves (Furlong, PA) Love the binoculars just like everyone else. Only complaint is the flimsy attachments. The neck strap is impossible to attach and is obviously a piece of junk anyway so don't bother. I find it annoying that the lens covers aren't connected in some way. They pop off very easily. Just seems to me like something that could easily be prevented with better design. All things considered, these are really minor complaints. The purpose is to get great binoculars for a great price, and that I did. I would still highly recommend them.
Good binoculars!! December 8, 2008 Latchezar Radev (San Francisco, CA) Very good binoculars and reasonably priced. Focus is easy to work with. Some people complain about the plastic straps. It looks like they replaced them as mine came with cloth straps which are O.K.
Info November 16, 2008 Maryland Gentleman (MD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The actual dimnetions of this product are 7" long and 7" wide ( at the end of the product- the part that we hold to our eyes is not quite as wide and fit to the eyes. These are VERY strong binoculars, they are 16x the magnification, the 50 ( the other #) is simply the size of the front lens.. its 50 mm in diameter ( wide)... they are very strong and you can see things very far away. If you need a pair for a concert or a football game or something, then I believe these would be way to powerful and large. ( also I read somewhere, and I think its true that anything over 10x the magnification ( these are 16x) that you should use a tripod, since its too hard to see properly, since it needs to be compltely still.
