Great shoes July 12, 2008 Katy (Seattle, WA) Very comfortable, cushioned shoe perfect for any type of running...from treadmill to hiking. Definitely supportive at every place necessary on the foot. Seems true to size and standard as widths go. This was my first pair of Brooks, and I've never had a pair of running shoes I liked better!
the only shoe i use April 28, 2008 E. Ko 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had the Trance 5 and loved them. They carried me through a half marathon. I then switched to Asics for the next 5 months and started feeling some leg fatigue and knee tenderness. Did another half marathon in these and they were ok. I went back to the Trance series with the 6 since they were on clearance in my size. Sure you aren't buying these shoes for looks, but as a workhorse shoe for more serious runners these are it. Heavier than a lot of shoes but the stability is necessary for me. Shoes are totally a personal choice so it depends on your body. My first run in the T-6, I stumbled on a rock trying to duck a tree branch and these shoes saved me an ankle sprain. Hope they never end the Trance series, I have found nothing that compares to the padding and stability while still having flexibility. Nice venting in toe box, very well padded ankle, which is awesome for those of us with narrow ankles. Can't wait for the Trance 7s. DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A WALKING OR AEROBICS SHOE, they are stability running shoe and do not have the flexibility.
I love these shoes April 8, 2008 B. Terrell (bella vista, AR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved these shoes when I bought them for a higher price so I could not pass this price up. I bought 2 pair for myself and 1 pair for my daughter. She was also thrilled. Several people have ask me where I got them! I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts on my feet and these shoes make my feet feel so much better.
The Best Yet! April 6, 2008 B. Miller (Lake Forest, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought my first pair 3 months ago and just purchased a second pair to have when I need them. THE BEST shoe I've ever owned. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my "regular" shoe size and that was perfect. I'm disappointed that they are discontinued - but if your size is still in stock, the price is more than right and you won't be disappointed!
Great snag!! March 30, 2008 W. Johnson (Boston, MA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What a great snag for such a low price! I am an avid runner so I need a comfortable lightweight sneaker and this product defines that. Plus, wearing them for the first few runs, I had no blisters! I highly recommend this shoe!
