the best indoor ball made June 16, 2008 J. C. (San Bruno, CA United States) worth the money. this ball is the one others are compared to. highly recommend it. we will only play with a SV5W.
One of the best volleyballs out there! May 24, 2008 C. Fewtrell (Washington, DC) I'm so glad I was able to strike such a good deal on Amazon with this high quality volleyball.
The finest volleyball I've ever played with March 10, 2008 C. Olsen (Portland, OR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Some A-players call this a 'creampuff', but I haven't found another volleyball that feels any better than this one. Other balls (esp. Molten) feel like lead sinkers. I can't stand those things. The SV-5W Gold however has the right combination of weight and feel for both setting and hitting that it makes for great indoor play. Some people complain that before they've been broken in that they can feel a tad harsh at first, but that goes away quite quickly. I think that there is some sacrifice of longevity for the supple feel that this ball offers, so avoid banging it against walls etc. for warm-up.
Tachikara SVW Gold Competition Premium Leather Volleyball February 6, 2008 chip Nice product. Fast shipment. The price was much better than buying from a sporting goods.
Still the best indoor volleyball January 22, 2008 Troy Jackson (Minneapolis, MN United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This ball is still my favorite. Every year I get at least one for a gift and playing 3 nights a week it will last about one year. The touch is firm but the ball keeps a true round shape forever. The prices around town and on the web span a lot of different ranges, however you should be able to get this for under $50 with enough hunting.
