It comes with two 2 removable seats, repair kit, and nylon carry bag.

About Sevylor
In 1948 in Vitry, a small suburb of Paris, France, Berco Grimbert created an electronics company called Societe Electronique de Vitry, or SEVY for short. Soon, a friend of Grimbert's from New York commissioned SEVY to produce high frequency welding machines capable of fusing a new material called PVC (poly vinyl chloride). SEVY's machines worked very well and the American friend developed a very successful business manufacturing swimming pool related products. He then taught SEVY how to work with PVC.

One of the first PVC products SEVY produced was inflatable bathtub called Dou Dou. It was an instant hit in postwar France--mothers could bathe their children even where no facilities were available. The media hailed Dou Dou as a significant invention. Soon, SEVY added small pools and flotation devices such as rings, beach balls, and inflatable swim jackets to its product line. Safe, hygienic products, made of PVC and designed for portability, durability and convenience, became the SEVY trademark.

The company quickly outgrew its small facilities in Vitry. Mr. Grimbert accepted an attractive offer from the French government to take over a defunct textile factor in the tiny Alsatian village of Buhl. After establishing its new headquarters, the company added the letters "lor" to its name, and became Sevylor. In French, l'or means gold. By coincidence, or possibly fate, Sevylor has proven to be "as good as gold" to its owners, retailers, consumers, and employees.

4 out of 5 stars Great Value for Your First Canoe   September 12, 2008

Okay, the Colorado by Sevylor just what I was searching for, rugged materials, portable and lightweight enough for air travel and roomy enough to store plenty of make-up for fishing or primitive camping for two. Let's Get Primitive: The Urban Girl's Guide to Camping

The 2 adjustable seats provide comfort for hours of paddling and relaxed reading. How to Die in the Outdoors: 100 Interesting Ways I was concerned but pleasantly surprised that DID come with a skeg tracking fin (crucial in straight line maneuverability). You'll want to attach this before you inflate; otherwise it's almost impossible to add later. The 5 separate air chambers insure that if you lose pressure in one chamber (i.e. unskilled bait casting), the others act as a safety feature. FYI: For those of you who flunked your 8th grade Science class, water temperature will affect the air pressure of your inflatable...bring along a bellows style foot pump Coleman Bellows Foot Pump to re-inflate during extended trips. Also use the foot pump to top off your canoe's air supply, since a 12-V electric does not supply enough pressure. The included air pressure gauge is a cool surprise accessory as well, but was a tad tricky to use at first. Enlist the help of degreed engineer and you'll be floating at perfect psi inflation in no time.

There are a number of handy D-Rings for cargo & tie down, paddle ties and well placed carry handles but I received only ONE of the TWO promised removable hull storage compartments. Hey you at Seyvlor, what's up with that?

Love my new canoe!...You'll toss out your partner before you'll part with this little gem of a craft. Toss the Guilt and Catch the Joy: A Woman's Guide to a Better Life

5 out of 5 stars Sevylor Inflatable Canoe- Colorado   August 15, 2008

Recently purchased this item on line for under $300. It is easy to inflate, store, very stable and tracks well. It does everything you would expect from an inflatable canoe. I would highly reccomend this product. If you want the fun of canoeing without having to transport a heavy, hard canoe and store it as well this is a perfect product. It can be inflated and ready to go in less than 20 minutes and it stores into a handy bag. You give up some stability and capacity but this is excellent for weekend recreation. One drawback is that the floor air valve is a little hard to access.

Great boat for the price. Not the fastest boat in the water but very stable, durable, fun and convenient. The bottom is thick (which does add considerable weight) and extremely resistant to puncture. Its great to have a boat in the trunk where ever we go.

I think that this Sevylor canoe is a great buy for the money. It is easy to haul and set up. We keep it on a shelf in the garage and throw it in the car on a whim to go to the local lake all the time. We are both over 45 and come close to hitting the maxium weight limit. My husband and grown sons use it for fishing all the time. We do not have the money, space, or trailer to have a regular canoe. This has worked out great. Our grown children have stopped by on weekends, picked up the canoe and went out and had a great day. It is very easy to store, carry and set up.

We also bought the sevylor trolling motor, it is also great. For 80.00 you can not go wrong. We camp alot on small lakes and rivers. This is the perfect little extra for the trip. We bought the canoe, 2 paddles, the trolling motor and a deep cycle marine battery, all for under $400.00.
I am not saying that there are'nt better canoes out there. What I am saying is for the money, convience, fun, storage issues. this is a great product.
It is great for the whole family. Money is always a consideration with us. I try to get the best buy for our dollar and we feel this is one. We have hit rocks, dragged on pavement ect... and it holds up. It is very well built and sturdy.

Of course this canoe could do better tracking when paddling, of course it could be more comfortable, but I did not buy a $1000.00 canoe. For a grand total of 400.00 ( with all the extra's). We have something that does exactly what we bought it to do!. We have truely enjoyed this product and it as shown us what great fun being on the water is with out it being a huge expense. This set up is something the average family can afford, store, use and be happy with.

The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating, was because it made me want more...a big boat!
