Amazon.com Product Description This Luminox Men's F-117 Nighthawk Watch features a unique illumination system that glows 100 times brighter than other luminous watches, making it the perfect choice for low-light or non-light situations. This versatile timepiece is constructed with a stainless-steel, 46-millimeter case. The durable stainless-steel band is accompanied by a fold-over clasp with safety mechanism. Stand-out Arabic numerals adorn the dramatic black dial face. For further time-keeping practicality a handy date calendar rests at the three o'clock position. Powered by analog-quartz movement and water resistant up to a depth of 660 feet, this watch is preferred by US Navy SEALs and US Air Force Pilots.

Luminox F-117 watch September 5, 2008 Mr. David Hopwood (West Yorkshire, U.K.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have owned one of these watches for five years now. It has been on my wrist almost constantly during that period. The black PVD coating is outstanding and has stood up to many a knock and scrape without any detriment whatsoever. Time keeping is excellent. The size is just right, it does not tip on the wrist like some and the quality of the night time illumination has to be seen to be believed. Stunning! Having discarded the metal strap I had mine fitted with a black 100M water resistant all leather strap and it has proved a winning combination for me. There is only one addition I would like to make to this watch - a magnifying lens over the date window. It looks cool and it is cool.
Watch May 14, 2008 J. Montani (Florida) Excellent product. Best sport watch I have ever owned. Takes bumps and submersion in salt water very well
Beautiful watch, rugged, although a bit heavy/uncomfortable March 17, 2008 Minh Q. Le (Vancouver, Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I REALLY love how this watch looks. I have gotten many compliments from strangers/friends on it's appearance. It's rugged and can take many falls (I've accidentally dropped it from 5 ft. off the floor). It keeps its time as accurately as I can ask it to. The only knock I have on this watch, is that it's quite uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I'm not the beefiest person around (I weigh 150lbs and have somewhat thin wrists), so the sheer weight of the watch bothered me a bit. Wearing this watch for over a couple hours, left my wrists with noticeable red marks. If they made this watch in a titanium version, I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat.
Solid watch February 7, 2008 JT I have had this watch since Sept. 2001. 6 months ago the battery died. 6 years is pretty good. It took a while to get it fixed. It needed a battery and then it would not keep time, so the watch company had it a few months before they got it up and going 75$ later. I have put this watch through the ringer. Face is hard to scratch. I ended up taking the metal band off and putting a rubber one on. Just a matter of preference I guess. Tritium gas luminescence is the best. I won't go back to anything else. You can see it a mile a way in the dark. Solid watch and companion. Looks good for dress and play. Recommend it highly, but I paid a little less for it. F-117 on the back is sweet looking.
Generall a good watch, but the finish doesn't last. September 20, 2007 Richard Lord (Phoenix, AZ USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've had this watch for a few years now. It is a great watch, I've never needed to replace the battery and the glow in the dark markers are still very bright. My only complaint is the finish. I suppose I can't really complain, any type of coating would probably wear off over time. It's really bad on the band and clasp. My last watch was a Luminox Navy Seals Watch (Very similar) with the stainless finish but I sold it and bought this one because I liked the black finish better. In hindsight I would stick with the stainless finish since it can't wear off. If it were a special occasion only watch, or if it was a $50 watch that I could replace every year or so it would be ok. But for a watch this price I need it to last a bit longer. I don't have any complaints with the quality at all, I realize that no coating will last forever. Just consider that when you make your decision. I personally will be sticking to stainless finishes from now on.
