Great fun October 16, 2008 Victoria L. Plumley I had a great time using this kayak. Easy to blow up and use.
Convenient for apartment storage August 9, 2008 Island Lover (Isla Verde, Puerto Rico) No space for storing a rigid kayak in oceanfront apartment complex in San Juan, PR. Inflatable option does the trick. Good for ocean use although a little tight for two adults. Maybe a sit-on-top would be better. Rolls up nicely and not that heavy.
This is fun August 6, 2008 M. Wagoner This is a fun boat to go out on the lake with. I do recommend the STEARNS - SEVYLOR SKEG FOR TAHITIS, FIJI AND BALI MODELS. Its a rooter that you must have or you will not be able to go straight. Its good for two people. Its big for one person.
Great Value July 26, 2008 Jeremy Bennett (MO USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have taken the two that I own out half a dozen times now, and the inflation is easy, boat handles as well as expected, and it is pretty durable. It does not come with paddles, but these, X-Treme Deluxe 84in Kayak Paddle, are great paddles to use with it.
Great ride! Great deal! Get the skeg!!! June 2, 2008 pxlchk1 (Chicago) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
My fiance and I purchased this boat last summer. We live very close to a river, so we just dropped in by our house. We paddled all we wanted and pulled out about 10 miles down in a riverside park, deflated the boat, then called a cab and threw it in the trunk to go home. Perfect! When deflated, if you get a couple of nylon straps, it can roll up to about the size of a medium duffle bag for transport. I did one run without the skeg (not included) and one with. Don't skip the skeg. It made a HUGE difference in the handling. I've had several canoes over the years. The pain was trying to transport, portage, and get home on my own. This is a perfect solution. I'm 5'8" and my fiance is 6'5". We were a bit cramped when sitting in the boat, so I'd recommend that you get 2 boats for 2 adults.
