4 out of 5 stars Very good for the price   August 30, 2008
Shawn M. Talbot
I bought these for martial arts. I have lots of experience with wrestling and shoes. Most generally are more toward the narrow side and these are as well. However, I have VERY wide feet, (I swim REAL well), and have learned to loosen the laces quite a bit!! After doing that these shoes work very well for what I am using them for. They would absolutely do the job on the mat as well! I didn't say they are the best shoe out there, but you certainly get more than what your paying for!!

3 out of 5 stars Shoes are cut tight.   June 20, 2008
William S. Woodruff (Hammonton, New Jersey United States)
I couldn't get my foot inside even without socks. They run narrow. I had to return them and will see if they charge return postage (I'm told they charge $6.95 for return postage). May just take back to a bricks-and-mortar store to make sure I can get my feet inside a pair. My feet aren't narrow but aren't special either didn't expect a problem getting my feet inside these shoes.

5 out of 5 stars Does what it should at an inexpensive price   April 24, 2008
S.
I have owned this pair for about a month. I use it twice a week for martial arts classes. It does what it should... keeps my toes together and supports my ankle a little bit. I don't know what a better wrestling or martial arts shoe is like, but I like the one that I have.

The price is so affordable.

Potential con: If you are using this shoe for martial arts other than wrestling, and do not want the shoe to ankle (or half ankle) high, then this may not be the shoe for you.

3 out of 5 stars cut small   April 21, 2008
Cecilia Troutman (Miami, Florida)
I had to send these shoes back because they were very tight fitting. Even though this is my normal shoe size, I requested to exchange the 7 1/2 to a 8 1/2 size.

5 out of 5 stars Great   April 12, 2008

Just as expected. My son loves them and wears these shoes at TKD every week.
