Unlike previous steam irons that I've owned, the B & D makes the tasks so much simpler and safer by simply standing on end while not being used...I don't know how many times that my previous irons fell over because the stand up ability was poor...Not now, the B & D has a stable base for stand alone safety and I don't have to worry about keeping an eye on it to catch it if it falls...Well built but light weight, this iron is easy to fill and use...just pick the desired function (steam, no steam, cotton, low heat, etc.) and, you will be very pleased with the results.

Iron Maiden
This is the very best iron I have ever used. It was worth every penny. It works exactly as it indicates and does not spit or spill water as most irons will do. Also, this iron has an extremely long cord, which is helpful. I am tempted to buy two or three to put on the shelf for gifts. I should have known to stick with a Black & Decker. Thanks!

I absolutely loved this iron. It WAS one of the best products I ever bought. I read other's warnings about how fast it broke and I hoped it was just their iron - not. I am definately not going to buy another one after reading how many stopped working so fast.

Received steam iron in great condition. Replaced an iron that had a roll up cord. This iron is much lighter, but the amount of steam creates a nice press. No shoulder discomfort from this little baby.

Black & Decker D2030 Auto-Off Digital Advantage Iron
I received this iron and began using it. Loved the features, it heats up quick, and the weight of the iron itself. Only one problem.....when I filled up the water reservior for the steam, and set it down on the ironing board, water leaked out where the electrical cord meets the base of the iron!
So, I contacted Amazon, they shipped me out another one, same model, before they even received back my defective one. The new one is working fine, no leaks.
and, it is now 5 bucks less than last month!
