Product Description STAINLESS STEEL TRAVEL TUMBLER,
Amazon.com Review For easy-sip, no-spill commuting, this thermos offers an ingenious solution. A lever opens the sip-hole with a light squeeze of the fingers. Relax the fingers and the hole closes. Bingo! Since the lever lies opposite the sip-hole, the Travel Tumbler works for righthanders and lefthanders. Virtually unbreakable, this lightweight, vacuum-insulated thermos travels to work or your favorite recreation spot. On arrival, and for hours afterward, coffee, tea, or soup will still be hot. Or lemonade, iced tea, or a sports drink will still be chilled. It's compact (7-3/4 inches high) and handsome. A band of soft, nonslip black rubber encircles the tapered, satin-finish exterior, ensuring a firm grip. Top, bottom, and L-shaped lever are black plastic. Fine threading ensures the twist top seals tightly, while the smooth interior cleans with sponge or cloth. Preheating or prechilling with hot or cold water is recommended. --Fred Brack

Replacement mug September 6, 2008 John Coleman (Fairfax, VA USA) I had the same Nissan tumbler for years but needed a replacement due to an 'accident' with the old one. Excellent tumbler, glad to get the new one - looks just the same.
Nissan Stainless: One of the best on the market September 3, 2008 G. Miller (FT Bragg, NC (SOF)) I first received my Nissan Stainless travel mug about 10 years ago as a birthday present. I hadn't planned on keeping the thing so long but it just never got lost or broke prompting me to replace it. Simply put, it's a great travel mug. Very rugged, durable, made from good plastics and generally holds it's handsome appearance over the years. Highlights: 1. Nice steel body with rugged plastic top and bottom along with a rubber hand grip at the middle. It's not glued on but never slipped off unless I was washing it. 2. The heat retaining ability isn't as good as some others I have had but it may have been hotter water in the other one. Not sure. It holds its temperature well. 3. A more effective closing device. It's a rubber-padded hole closing device where you drink. It's spring-loaded and does a pretty good job of avoiding spills. If you turn it over it will drip but not spill. Lowlights: (?) 1. You can't disassemble the closing device for cleaning so if you don't periodically scrub the interior of the top it will get pretty funky in there, depending on your beverage. (Coffee/Latte will make it get really funky while tea not so much.) 2. Could retain heat better but it's ok. 3. A wider base might help stabilize the mug but it wasn't a serious issue. Anyhow, there are (at this point) 60 other reviews but I hope this one helps you. I love this mug and I can't find it and I'm replacing it because I miss it : /
Thermos Nissan July 24, 2008 T Bear (Huntley, Illinois) This thermos is excellent. It keeps things hot and cold for many hours. it is a nicely designed thermos. I think it is a little "pricey".
Nissan Ultimate thermos-14 oz. Steel Vacuum Travel Tumbler June 2, 2008 Debra E. Davis (Ft.W Texas) I received this particular item as a gift, but my puppy chewed the edge of the mouthpiece. Even though I continued to use it for several months after that, one day I went on a quest to replace it. When I located the replacement tumbler, I bought 2 of them. I love it because the handle controls the drink opening and when released, closes it automatically. It also keeps my drink cold all day.
Best Travel Mug ever for Cold/Hot beverages May 16, 2008 D. Dickerson (Balt., MD United States) I have tried so many travel mugs that were no good. They couldn't keep drinks cold or hot, or they leaked when knocked over. I ended up throwing them all in the trash. This Travel mug is definitely money well spent. I could have saved a lot of money by buying this mug to start with. I will never own another travel mug besides this Nissan. This is the BEST Travel Mug I have ever owned. We have 4 of them, one for each member of the family.
