Johnson Brothers has been making fine English tableware for over 100 years. Much loved by collectors and Anglophiles the world over, the classic Old Britain Castles Pink pattern is not only beautiful but also offers a historical tour of an empire. From Stratford-on-Avon to Penshurst Place and Kenilworth Castle to Blarney Castle, each piece depicts a different panoramic scene of a great architectural monument and the landscape that surrounds it. Intricate ornamental borders of flowers and leafy scrolls surround the pieces and bring the disparate array of scenes harmoniously together. This five-piece place setting consists of a 10-inch dinner plate, 6-inch side plate, 6-inch cereal bowl, teacup, and saucer. Rose tints and gently scalloped edges give these dishes a delicate feel, while their durable design makes them suitable for everyday use. I love this set. In addition to being beautiful, it's microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. I've bought 12 place settings plus the serving set, salt and pepper shakers, rimmed soup, salad plates, and 8 additional dinner plates. I get lots of compliments on my dishes, always. It's hard-working everyday china that looks like a million. Johnson Brothers is great. I wish that Amazon.com would carry more options than just the basic place setting.

This pattern is very unique and I would be interested in purchasing 8 sets if it came in RED.
