This salt and pepper set is lovely and very unusual. The rounded look has been done before, but the design really sets it apart. The Naturewood design takes a soft, natural color palette, then adorns it with sketches of leaves and potted herbs, as well as garden trowels, gloves, a birdhouse, and a watering can to keep with the theme. One shaker has four holes, the other has three. (Presumably the four-hole shaker is for salt, but you can make that decision yourself.) The stoneware is safe for use in the microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher. Three-year warranty. --Doree Armstrong

I received these as a gift from a friend who knows I'm building my Naturewood collection. I had hesitated to purchase them for myself because of the negative review listed here on Amazon regarding the stoppers being difficult to remove. I was pleasantly surprised not to have that problem in the least and the shakers themselves are beautiful.

As I have been building my Naturewood collection, the Salt and Pepper Shakers were the obvious choice. They are absolutely adorable, and go beautifully with the stoneware as well as most kitchen decors. If you're like me, you love to keep them out on the kitchen table -- so, enjoy this whimsical pair that also fit nicely in your hand when you use them. Shake away!!
