| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Shaped for extracting full enjoyment when sipping eau de vie or other spirits, the four narrow glasses in this set are part of the moderately priced Ouverture series offered by world-renowned Austrian glassmaker Riedel Crystal (founded in 1756). Being lead-free, they're not crystal like Riedel's premium glasses but are machine blown of potash glass and are dishwasher-safe. Their thin rims are cut and polished to Riedel's exacting standards, so spirits flow easily onto the tongue and flavor is enhanced. Each glass holds 6-3/8 ounces and stands 6-7/8 inches high. --Fred Brack

Good Single Malt Scotch Nosing Glassware December 8, 2007 M. Ashe (Seattle Area) I purchased these for Single Malt Scotch Whisky nosing/tasting. Pros: Tulip shape works well to gather aromas. Clarity is good, allowing you to evaluate color. Easy to clean, and dishwasher safe. No lead used in manufacturing. Cons: Stem could be shorter and the base of the bowl could be wider. Narrow lip makes tasting a bit awkward. Overall: Great for nosing, tasting is ok. Good price and quality, but not the perfect nosing/tasting glass.
Good price, very elegant design October 23, 2002 David Casker (Johnstown, PA United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm glad I found this line of stemware. It might not be lead crystal, but it looks great and feels great, and with the price and being dishwasher safe, I feel I got a great deal.
