Classically simple yet elegant, the white base of each piece is accented by three bands of platinum--the widest band at the rim and two narrower ones within it--and a shining glaze overall. The teacup's platinum accents are especially attractive; they encircle the foot and rim and trace the side edges of the handle. Ever since my son got married I have given his wife a set of their china for each holiday. I was buying through the Lenox website and was satisfied with the product but by the time I finished paying for the product, shipping/handling AND taxes (we have a Lenox outlet in Utah) it was very expensive.
I was thrilled to see that I could order this product through Amazon. I qualified for free shipping and there were no taxes involved AND the price was less than through Lenox itself. My order was delivered quickly and in great shape.
I plan on ordering this product ONLY through Amazon from now on.
