The pattern starts with a pure white bone china that is 51-percent bone ash for durability and beauty. This base is overlaid with a white-on-white border wreath of lacy flowers and a trim edge line of white beading. Fine bands of platinum at the rim and interior add polish and definition to the look. The design is compatible with intimate or large-scale occasions and looks as pretty in winter as in summer, thanks to its pure tones. This place setting for one is especially lovely when layered for a multi-course meal. the cup of the first set of china arrived broken. amazon replaced it within a few days for free. i was very pleased with the quick turn-around.
packaging around the china could have been more cushioned and secure. the interior boxes were crushed in both shipments.
