Covered Casserole is 7 pint size. Introduced in 1999. Measures 8 inches diameter at the top x 9.5 inches high with the lid on x 5 inches deep. Romantic shape. Pictures the Clematis. Use the Covered Casserole for serving vegetables, pasta, stew, curry, and more. A great entertaining and serving piece. Designed by Susan Williams-Ellis, Botanic Garden is a stupendous and innovative pattern. The famous Botanic Garden pattern was inspired by an antique horticulture book. About thirty different flowers are strewn across the collection. The whole mix and match pattern is unified by the style of drawing, the flitting of butterflies and the distinctive leaf borders. The Bakeware range is made of dense, high fired, white earthenware that is resistant to chipping and breaking. This ware is ovenproof to 390 degrees Farenheit and is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. Made for day-to-day use.

I received this particular piece as a wedding gift, and I love it. It's great if you're serving mashed potatoes, vegetables, or anything else you want to keep warm. I think the whole Botanic Garden collection is nice looking and durable. My husband breaks everything, and these are the dishes he chose for durability.
