The inspiration for the colorful Carmina pattern is the Mediterranean as the warm blues and greens evoke the colors of the sea while the lemony yellow is reminiscent of the unrelenting sun. The varied tableware in this pattern mixes and matches these colors along with using well-known fruits from the region--olives and lemons--to liven up the centers of some of this dinnerware. This 33-1/2-ounce vegetable dish easily moves from daily dining to informal entertaining and is perfect for serving a side of cooked lima beans or sautéed new potatoes to a family of four. A yellow border decorated with blue diamonds covers the majority of the rim while a thinner band comprised of varying shades of blue diamonds on a mottled olive green background trims the inner edge.
