Product Description Teabag/Spoon Rest measures 5.5 inches wide. Available in the following motifs: Daisy, Cyclamen, Speedwell, Rhododendron, Forget-Me-Not and Milkwort. Pictured as the Milkwort. Designed by Susan Williams-Ellis, Botanic Garden is a stupendous and innovative pattern. The famous Botanic Garden pattern was inspired by an antique horticulture book. About thirty different flowers are strewn across the collection. The whole mix and match pattern is unified by the style of drawing, the flitting of butterflies and the distinctive leaf borders. Most of the Accessories range is made of dense, high fired, white earthenware that is resistant to chipping and breaking. This ware is ovenproof to 170 degrees Celcius/340 degrees Farenheit and is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. Made for day-to-day use.
Amazon.com Review At a teatime table set in the lovely Botanical Garden collection, this charming spoon rest is a clever addition to the occasion. After steeping a pot of Earl Gray or Darjeeling and sweetening a cup to taste, rest a gathering of teaspoons on this delightful teapot shaped plate, with ample room on the 5-1/2-inch width. Decorated in lovely handpainted blossoms by Portmeirion's artist Susan Williams-Ellis, the pattern evokes classic antique floral illustrations. The Teapot spoon rest makes a sweet gift for a hostess and is a perfect accompaniment with a wide selection from the Botanic Garden line. Dishwasher-safe, this import from Great Britain comes in one of over 30 assorted motifs and colors, though specific designs are not guaranteed. --Roberta Cruger
