A truly unique dinnerware pattern, New Wave is part of Villeroy & Boch's Metropolitan collection. Ultra chic and contemporary, each piece incorporates flowing lines, curving edges, and an exceptionally fun design. Lacking any decorative elements, the milky white china speaks for itself, while also highlighting the food or beverage intended for the individual item. Sharp corners give way to wavy sides that lift and turn like the sea, and many pieces in the line fit together in a complementary fashion. A well-defined rim frames the serving area of each New Wave dinner plate in this set of four. This one of the pieces I have been collecting (and using!) for over a year. I can't recommend these pieces too much. They have style, panache, quality, and best of all you just really enjoy eating from them.

The plates are modern and good-looking, always rate compliments from guestts. I would like them more if they were a little bigger.
