Villeroy & Boch's New Wave dinnerware offers a bold and expressive setting for contemporary table decors. Combining the pattern's curvy rims with a medley of natural materials, this salad/serve set also shows off the clever efficiency of the design. The two bowls mimic each other in shape with square bodies, deep sides, and wide, undulating borders. The larger bowl is crafted of a mirror-polish metal, and the smaller porcelain bowl is finished with a cheerful white glaze. Handsome on their own, the two also stack neatly together for a handsome layered presentation. The set's serving fork and serving spoon feature wood and metal handles with a whimsical twist and generously sized working ends. Versatile enough for everyday use, the porcelain bowl goes safely into the microwave and dishwasher; the aluminum metal alloy bowl and utensils should not be used into the microwave and are best washed by hand.
