With a name meaning both "gold" and "beautiful" in Latin, the Aureus pattern from Villeroy & Boch creates a luminous table with a fresh feel. Its aqua and gold palette contrasts handsomely with white counterpoints and makes a lovely backdrop for the pattern's scatterings of bright flowers. Ideal for elegant dining without the stiff or minimalist feeling of many china lines, Aureus is opulent and spirited at once. Crafted from bone china with gold accents, it is also incredibly durable for frequent use and years of service. This graceful salad plate fits in nicely with the Aureus place setting for multi-course meals or stands confidently on its own for sophisticated lunches. A companion piece to other Aureus salad plate designs, the plate features an intricate, floral gold filigree border and generous gold banding.
