This poster shows a large bat symbol burns in a building behind him. The Joker is standing in front holding a burning card. At the top it says "Welcome to MY World Without Rules." At the bottom it says "The Dark Knight" and has the movie credits. This poster measures approx. 27" x 40" The Dark Knight is a 2008 American superhero film based on the fictional DC Comics character Batman. The film is a sequel to 2005's Batman Begins. 1 out of 5 stars Photoshopped FORGERY, False Ads, Rude & Incompetent Customer Service from Adam Hersh Posters   August 18, 2008
Customer
First of all, after receiving this poster, I know for a fact that this is not an original poster. The movie quote at the top of the poster reads "Welcome to a world without rules" and this specific poster was supposed to feature the word "a" crossed out and written in blood as "my," as if it were altered by the Joke himself. This is disappointing because the original picture that was shown online at the time of purchase featured the wording and the quote that I have just described. Obviously, whoever was in charge of making this FORGERY, and the company--Adam Hersh Posters--that was trying to pass this off as an original, did not pay close enough attention to detail. This was incredibly disappointing to see, especially since the company had complicated and withheld my order. Read below for more details.

This poster, along with another from Adam Hersh Posters, arrived in acceptable condition. However, at the time of checkout, I paid for 5-7 days shipping, and after my order was processed and the credit card payment was made, I did not hear from Adam Hersh Posters for almost 2 weeks. Becoming suspicious, I called to inquire about the status of my order. The Customer Service rep, Audra, was incredibly rude and stubborn, refusing to provide information on my order's status. She claimed it was sent and in transit, yet also claimed that it had no tracking number. She then said it would arrive in another 7-10 days, implying that the order had not yet been sent...which I later learned to be true. I simply stated that the shipping approximations they provide online are deceiving and should be changed. She exclaimed with attitude, "Well, I obviously cannot go back in time and send you your order in the promised time, so I don't know what you want me to do." Because of her attitude and inability to help, I asked to talk to someone else and she said she would just cancel my order and refund me 20-some dollars (although that wasn't even half of what I had paid!) and she hung up on me. If my order truly had no tracking number, how was the customer service rep able to claim my order was already shipped out? And without a tracking number, how was she going to "cancel" and retrieve my order? I called and got through a few minutes later and got the same representative on the phone. She said she would email me updated information on the status of my order. I left my phone number and said I expected her supervisor or manager of the company to please call me back so we could figure this out, since she herself said she could not help me. I never received the promised email nor call. 18 days after my purchase, I received my order. The shipping label on my package stated that it had not been sent out until the day I had spoken to the representative who had, at the time of our phone conversation, claimed it was already sent out the week before. The posters are in decent condition, but Adam Hersh Posters cannot be trusted to fulfill orders in promised and expected time and the company's customer service makes it impossible to contact an authoritative representative.

1 out of 5 stars Badly done photoshop version of the original posters   August 5, 2008

This poster is obviously a photoshop mash-up and on closer inspection, you'll find that it's rather badly done (the Joker is holding a joker card in his hands - and it's on fire, or rather, some one threw in some fire that obviously doesn't belong there).

If you're eager to buy this poster, just remember, that what you're buying is essentially "fan art". Nothing more.
