Product Description KitchenAid 5-Ply 18/10 Stainless Steel Clad Cookware combines the highest quality materials to deliver an exquisite line of stainless steel cookware that performs beautifully. The line combines gorgeous, highly polished stainless steel with the superior heat conductivity of an aluminum core. KitchenAid 5-Ply uses 18/10 stainless steel on both the exterior and interior. Heat-resistant, stainless steel handles provide a cool, confident grip. The cookware is oven safe. Handwash with mild dish soap. Can not be used with induction top stoves.
Amazon.com Review This is not just another pot. With its mirrorlike 18/10 stainless-steel sheen, solid construction, and attention to detail, this saucier verges on a showpiece. The five-ply construction fuses an aluminum core between layers of stainless steel, resulting in wonderful heat transference across the bottom and up the sides. A special deep-draw lid ensures a tighter seal and minimizes rattling. The long, solid-cast stainless-steel handle is polished and has rounded edges for comfortable handling. The handle also stays cool to the touch and is oven-safe up to 500 degrees F. (Do use a potholder, though, when removing from the oven.) Hand washing with a mild detergent is recommended. Comes with a limited lifetime replacement warranty. --Matthew Evans

Beautiful and versatile April 24, 2008 Robert Siletzky (Elon, North Carolina) I bought mine about a year ago and this has proved to be a very versatile pot: I make spaghetti sauce one day, oatmeal the next. We've had no problems at all with it, and I endorse all the positive comments among the other reviewers. If this is you first time looking, please note how many people are pretty much "devoted" to this pot. At first I wasn't a big fan of the handle, which comes up quite sharply at the pot before going horizontal. One effect is that it gets the hand well away from the burner quickly, keeping it cooler. The really great effect, though is that it makes this pot fit almost perfectly with the Food Mill Stainless Steel 2 Quart by MIU France. The mill fits perfectly on top of this Saucier, and the handles merge together so that they are only about a half-inch apart. The handle on the Saucier is flat so it is easy to grip the Mill's handle along with the Saucier's which gives an extremely stable platform for milling any vegetables or tomatoes directly into the pot. This is the only pot, of a dozen or so in my kitchen where this works so perfectly. The price of the Mill is expensive, but it goes go on sale from time to time. If you make lots of sauces then the combination of the two products is perfect. I'm going to try to add a picture here shortly. (I've never done it before.)
Fine cookware bargain April 15, 2008 An Educated Consumer (Floral Park, NY) Was trying to make the commitment to purchase the All Clad LTD saucier. Kept reading the reviews to the Kitchen Aid and decided I did not want to spend twice the price on the All Clad. Thhis saucier does not disappoint in any way. Shaped well, easy to clean, beautiful and cooks like a dream! Love it!
Stainless-Steel Goodness December 26, 2007 Anthony Pacheco (Redmond, WA.) I have been using this saucier for several years now and it is a great pan that does its job very well: even heat, rounded bottom, perfect for the whisk. It is also a handsome pot. After using it for six months, I replaced all the other junk in my kitchen with stainless-steel 5-ply KitchenAid pots and pans.
I would give it more stars if I could--EXCELLENT COOKWARE PIECE August 6, 2007 D. P. Taylor (East Coast, USA) I own a set and some extra pieces of KitchenAid 5-Ply SS Clad cookware, and this is my favorite piece. Read the reviews, then go and splurge on it--it will last you a lifetime!!!
great Saucier January 14, 2007 Kar Dell (North East United States) The is a great pot. Handle stays cool, heat is even. as good as Allclad (I have them both) and looks as good. This is a pot that you need in your kitchen. GReat for sauces, the sloped sides make it easy to incoporate ingredients. You will be pleased
