Product Description Perfect Steam Garment Steamer, Removes Wrinkles 5 Times Faster Than Ironing, 45 Second Quick Heat Up, 5' Hose With Exclusive Safe Touch Cover, Auto Shut Off, Integrated Hangar Racks & Convenient Telescoping Design For Compact Storage.
Amazon.com Review With its long-lasting steam power and adjustable design, the 1500-watt Perfect Steam commercial garment steamer from Home Touch is a great alternative to labor-intensive ironing. The steamer has an easy-to-fill tank that holds enough water for up to 40 minutes of continuous steam and heats up in just 45 seconds. The steam comes out of a 5-1/2-by-2-inch flat nozzle at the end of a flexible 5-foot hose, which is covered by durable heat-resistant fabric. Between uses, the nozzle can be hung on or coiled around the telescoping garment hanger. Home Touch builds in a ready indicator light and automatic shut-off for when water level is too low. Rolling casters make for easy movement of the steamer, and a simple bottom drain lets you empty it speedily. A fabric brush attachment is included for grooming and refreshing clothes. Safe for all types of fabric, the unit comes with a two-year warranty and detailed instructions. --Emily Bedard

10 seconds and then pffft November 11, 2008 LaFemmeGeek (WA state) Thank heavens I bought this on sale! Worked for about 10 seconds, and that was it; no heat, no steam, nothing. Ran the troubleshooting gauntlet to no avail. Tried customer service, what a joke. It will cost more to ship it back than I paid for it, so looks like in the trash it goes. Don't waste your money, time or frustration.
Very disappointed November 9, 2008 Red (Bronx, NY United States) Used 6 times and just stopped working. I have had other steamers and this definitely takes too much effort and time, may as well iron.
dissapointed November 4, 2008 Bianca Santoni (florida,USA) The product is not what i expected. I thought that my shirts would be looking like the ones on the store, but it didn't

Very Good for Price, but Not Perfect September 30, 2008 Michelle Ernst (NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I actually bought this at Macy's. When on sale there, it's the same price. The reviews for this and all steamers were so erratic that I wanted the convenience of returning it to a store if it underperformed. That won't be necessary. I'm very pleased with the job it does, especially for this price (I paid $49 at the time). It generally gets tough wrinkles out of all types of fabrics with a lot less effort than ironing. It doesn't press clothes and you don't get that crisp look you would get with an iron, but it does a great job of smoothing out the wrinkles. Filling the unit seems easy enough and it is ready to use in less than a minute. Overall, I would still buy this steamer at this price, but here are its probelms that I struggle with a little: - It's hard to get the clothes at the right height to work on them. With the pole all the way up, I still find myself stooping over too much to deal with the lower portions of my shirts. If I put my shirts on a hanger that I place over the door or on a shower curtain rod, than they're too high for the hose to reach the top portions. - You really need to empty the machine after every use. Otherwise, you get the issues that others have already described. Filling it is easy enough. Draining it isn't that hard and still a lot simpler than dealing with an iron and board, but I wish I could just leave it filled. It would be nice to have it always ready to go. I suspect this is an issue with all steamers. - Another item under the heading of "it probably happens with all steamers", it draws so much power that the lights in the room dim making it hard to see what you're doing. - I wish the unit was more stable. When working on a shirt hanging from the top of its tall pole, it's easy for the unit to either move with you or even tip a little. I can't imagine it falling over or anything, but it makes working with your clothes a little harder than it could be. I took more time with the negatives than the positives so you know what problems to consider. As I said, though, all things considered, an excellent steamer for the money and I would purchase it again.
