Case Logic Fans NO MORE! October 10, 2008 YMP (Dallas, TX United States) We recently bought this online. The quality is no longer the same as the previous models of Case Logic koskin albums. The koskin is very thin, the stitching is poor, and they have substituted the 3 zipper sides of the album with nylon except they don't tell you online, not on Amazon.com, [...]. And what is up with the brown stitching on the black koskin? Unfortunately, we bought ours via a vendor who will not take returns. Overall, very very disappointing. We were big Case Logic fans, not anymore. You can get other brands for a lot less, with better quality. Shoppers - you have been warned!
Why all the fuss? August 29, 2008 Lance 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ok, I almost didn't get this because of all the bad reviews, but I'm glad I did. Maybe it's not the same as the old version and maybe it's not as good, I don't know because I've never owned the old version, but this one is great. It feels sturdy, looks nice, and does its job. One complaint I saw over and over was that it had brown stitching as opposed to black. Personally, I love the brown stitching. It seems to give it a more retro appearance. Don't worry about the negative reviews. They are all from people who owned the first version. If this is the first time you're buying this one, you won't regret it.
Functional, but "cheap-looking" March 10, 2008 Cakes (oakland, ca United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this same product a few years ago. Needed another one so I ordered the exact same thing. It's super functional and all that. but this version is "cheaper" quality than the old one. Previous version had pretty good "pleather" feel all the way around. The new version now has a cheaper feeling pleather for the cover/binder, and the zip lining is now cheap nylon instead of the pleather. definitely lower quality, not as nice looking. functionality still good.
Nice binder! January 28, 2008 Catherine L. Graves (Mitchell, SD) This is a great sturdy binder. The width of it on a bookshelf is a little overwhelming... but I suppose it's worth it since it holds 336 CD/DVDs. Great product!
perfect price January 2, 2008 Annie Ferguson (Panama CIty Beach, FL) i would have paid over twice as much for this case at the store. My husband likes the biggest cases (300+ movies), so this was perfect. thanks! the item was brand new and still in its original packaging.
