96? No, try 40. July 16, 2008 Mute208 (Bay Area, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I decided to clear up some space in my home and do away with all the plastic DVD cases the same way I did away with my jewel cases for music CD's. I have about 5 large Case Logic CD binders and decided to go with Case Logic again due to my previous satisfaction with their binders. I certainly think I made a good decision to stay with Case Logic, but I am a little irritated at their somewhat deceptive description/marketing. The binder is what I was looking for as far as features are concerned. I like the binder material as it seems durable. I like the zip enclosure and the soft sleeves for the DVD's. I did notice that the flap for the sleeve, which only exists for the sleeve on the right edge, doesn't stay down very well and when flipping through the binder, it will often get stuck up. This has caused some of the flaps to develop a permanent crease. I like that I can fit 2 DVD liner notes per page, which allows me to find movies based on covers pretty easily. I do wish they had made the liner note sleeves just a tidge wider though. I have some DVD's that have the cheap cardboard case rather than the full plastic ones so for those, I used a scissor to cut the front cover off to insert into the sleeve. However, I had to cut them slightly smaller than where the fold is because the sleeve wasn't wide enough to accommodate. The main reason I had to give this case 3 stars instead of a 4 or 5, is because after counting all the movies I had, even counting for the 1 or 2 that have 3 discs (Back to The Future Trilogy), this "96" DVD Wallet should have been large enough. However, after spending quite some time removing all the movies from their original cases and placing them into the wallet, it filled up with about 15 movies left to go. Should I have counted the pages make sure before I started? Probably. Should I have read every detail and review before deciding on the wrong size? Definitely. Should Case Logic be more clear about how many actual movies versus discs fit in the case? Absolutely. I am returning this one and ordering the same case, but in the 120 count (62 actual movies). Case Logic also counts the 16 "Fast File" spaces as part of the 96. These are basically like the car visor sleeves in two rows. I like the case, just make sure you pick the correct size for your collection.

This product does exactly what I need it to do. That is to consolidate space.
Great storage system for DVDs October 1, 2007 V. Crump I really like this product. Just wish there was more room in the sleeves for the DVD data.

Price is reasonable. Wish I'd saved more of the jackets that work with this, but not other storage systems.
Could be much better December 5, 2006 A. Schupack (USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This item no longer comes in a traditional 3 ring binder style. The current style makes it difficult to remove single pages from the middle or back of the folder. Just buy the refill pages and put them in a cheap 3 ring binder from your local office supply.
