I have tried several natural dishwasher detergents. Most of them are fine, but this one smells great, doesn't leave my glasses cloudy, and cleans the dishwasher too! I must say that I did have the dishwasher over-flow the first two times I used it, but I think it must've cleaned something out of the drain as there hasn't been a problem since and I've used an entire box so far. I've also found that if you add water to the powder to make a paste, it works great at cleaning the bathtub (mine had hard water deposits)! It also doesn't leave your hands feeling dried out and plastic like chemical cleaners usually do on me. When I received the boxes, they were hard as rocks though. I think it is because the soap soaked up the outside moisture (it was storming) in transit. I just peeled open the top and dumped the contents into an old plastic bucket with lid (oxy clean buckets work), broke up the pieces a little with a butter knife, then closed the lid and shook it several times. Most of the clumps crumbled. I'm sure that the rest will crumble too if I shake it a few more times, or break the clumps with my fingers. All-in-all I'm very pleased with the product and the price.

Earth Friendly Products claims that this is dishwasher detergent. I filled both cups as directed on the box and a few minutes later, water was leaking all over the floor. I opened the door and the entire bottom was filled with suds. At first, I thought my wife tried to use liquid soap again, but then remembered that I'd loaded it. We've added as little as 1 tablespoon of detergent and it still foams up.
An email to the company's customer service department went unanswered.
Also, the packaging is the kind you'd expect a box of cereal to come in. When the case arrived (yeah, I have 12 boxes), 3 of them were broken open and leaking out of the carton.
Now I have to try and return this. Or perhaps I should try doing laundry with it.
