If you have pets, kids, or sloppy husbands...this is your quicker picker upper! It is intended for use in a quick situation, NOT for multiple cleaning areas, large areas, or extended cleaning requirements. It is ideal to grab if something spills, for pet mishaps or for quick clean up. We mounted in our laundry room, charging at all times, to guarantee quick access for immediate needs. This is our second one, starting with our first purchase 12 years ago! This is more convenient than our large carpet cleaner and we use it almost daily on carpet, hard surfaces and fabric safe furniture. With three aging dogs, a puppy, toddler and 6 yr old (with lots of friends), this is my sanity!!! No home should be without it...or a large carpet cleaner for the big situations! Use it for it's intended purpose and you will be satisfied!

It's easier to use than a full size cleaner, but I'm a bit disappointed that the battery life is so short (7 to 12 minutes and you have to charge 12 hours just to get that). The directions say that you can't use it when plugged in. So far, it's cleaned everything we've set out to clean without any problems. I'd buy another IF it would work while plugged in or the battery lasted longer.

Excellent product. We couldn't find it in the stores anywhere and it was exactly what my sister wanted. Delivery was on time and it arrived in perfect condition.

Not too long ago we brought home a puppy. It was quickly apparent that we needed a spot remover to bridge the gap between professional carpet cleanings. I ran out an purchased a competing cord model,the Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber SE2800. It worked wonderfully for price class and had great suction power. I came home one day to find the puppy had chewed through the cord in five places. I quickly ran out and bought the Bissell Cordless as a replacement.
Bissell's suction power is not as good as the previous Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber SE2800. It is lighter in weight. Filling and removing the water and waste water resevoir is easy. The battery life is farely short.
Should I need to purchase a third spot scrubber I would shy away from this model.

I bought this product when my baby was first starting to eat (and make a mess) and I have had it for four years now. This has lifted baby spit up on the sofa, to "Oops I spilled my grape juice" in the car and everything in between.
This is not a large project machine, it does not pick up food, nor is it meant for anybody who sits on stains. If you want to get wine, juice, milk, chili, catsup, etc off your beige carpet then and there, this is your machine!
Perfect for other parents for all the different childhood phases: spit up, potty training, sick accidents and spill accidents.
Cordless, you can use it just about anywhere.
I can't stress enough, that you must clean the dirty water out, or it will mold. That's right husbands, don't clean a food spill then put it in the cupboard to be found a month later =) And yes, I am purchasing another.
