good cabinet July 30, 2008 Jack Schmidt Cabinet was easy to assemble, the best combination of clear directions and well organized hardware I've seen yet. Only problem is that it's slightly out of square so that the doors don't hang plumb to the shelf below them - easily fixed with a couple of brads. We're very pleased.

I needed a small white cabinet for over the toilet, and after a lot of looking at what was available, decided this offered what I was looking for at a reasonable price. I ordered it Monday, and it arrived Tuesday. Must have shipped from a nearby store. That's the good part. My husband, who is an avid do-it-yourselfer, said it was like trying to put together a jigsaw puzzle. There were many pieces and lots of hardware, which was supposedly packaged according as needed for the 9 or so steps in assembling; however, the package allowed the pieces to mix, so they might about as well have been in a jumble to begin with. It took the two of us to get it all sorted out. All directions were pictorial and some could have used some explanation. If you buy this, be aware that the method provided for hanging it on the wall was impossible for us to accomplish because you have to fit 4 screws into 4 holes all at the same time, and you can't see any of them. All this has to be accomplished while you are holding up a fairly heavy cabinet. After damaging both the wall and the cabinet, we finally gave up and found another way to hang it. At this point the doors don't quite close quite evenly, and my husband has not yet figured out how to make them right. He hasn't figured out the drawer hardware yet either, but that will come, I think. Knowing what I now know, I would have chosen a different cabinet.
