1 out of 5 stars What a rip off!!   September 3, 2008
Kimberly Adams (San Diego, CA United States)
With all of the money lost on produce going bad, I was anxious to try these bags. Note: I did not read these reviews prior to my purchase. I bought the bags along with some beautiful strawberries and grapes yesterday. I did not wash them and followed the directions to a tee (folded the bag over, made sure there was no moisture inside the bag, etc). My strawberries and grapes were already starting to mold and rot THIS MORNING. I could not believe it. I wish I would have just put them in a regular Ziploc baggie. Luckily, the store I bought them from took them right back. I am validated in my feelings about these bags judging by all of the negative reviews. If you have purchased these, get your money back!! You have not done anything wrong!! The bags just simply do not work!! They are being marked down for a reason!!

1 out of 5 stars This product doesn't work   September 2, 2008

I have tried these bags with bananas, green peppers, tomatoes, onions etc. If there is ANY moisture at all, the vegetables will rot within hours. I followed the directions exactly, but have had only a little success (onions) which tend to stay fresh out in the open for many days anyway.

1 out of 5 stars bananas look fresh but are overripe - and moldy!   September 2, 2008
opinionated (Massachusetts)
Very disappointing. I've used these with bananas. Tried them 3 times, with the same results. And I DID follow directions. The bananas looked beautifully yellow and fresh (turn them over, though and see mold burning holes through the peel). But though they are yellow, they fell apart when I touched them. They were overripe. And this was after just 3 days. Also ruined strawberries. I think I'm done ruining my produce in these things. Wish I could at least recycle them!

1 out of 5 stars Total waste of money   August 25, 2008
Midwest Gal
The bananas I put inside the bag actually were turning brown in less than 6 hours, the bananas outside the bag are still nice 3 days later. What a scam! I wish there were negative stars to leave.

1 out of 5 stars These bags are a horrible waste of money   August 17, 2008

Who is Debbie Meyer and why do her bags suck so bad?? Seriously, I tried the bags with several different fruits and veggies and I did not find that they helped the food stay fresh any longer than average. I want my $10 back.
