Amazon.com Review KitchenAid's Artisan stand mixer is a substantial piece of equipment: 325 watts of mixing power make child's play of creaming butter, kneading dough, and whipping cream. The kid in you will appreciate how quick and easy it is to mix up a batch of cookie dough. This model comes with three attachments: a flat beater for making batter, meat loaf, and all textures in-between; a wire whip for egg whites, mayonnaise, and more air-infused creations; and a hook for mixing and kneading yeast doughs. All three are solidly constructed and easily secured to the beater shaft with a simple twist. The bowl itself locks tight to the base. Standing about 15 inches high, jutting out a foot, and weighing more than a grown woman's bowling ball, this stand mixer isn't the sort of appliance you'll wipe down and put away. Better to find a square foot of free counter space for easy access; besides, this machine is as pretty as it is rugged--you'll want to show it off. --Betsy Danheim Editor's note: This is a reconditioned small appliance. Reconditioned generally means that the appliance has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the appliance back to like-new condition. Some appliances may contain cosmetic blemishes.

Terrific deal! August 30, 2008 Max's Mom (FL) (Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid RRK150WH Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer) I must admit that I was a bit apprehensive about buying a refurbished KitchenAid mixer. After reading all of the customer reviews, and doing lots of product research, I decided to take the plunge. I am so glad that I did! The mixer that I received arrived well packaged, and looking like a brand new mixer! No marks on it anywhere, even the bowl appears to never have been used. The whisk, paddle, and dough hook are in perfect, new condition. Contrary to some of the reviews, my mixer is not all that noisy. I've used it several times, and it seems to work just fine. I am so very pleased with this purchase! I would not have been able to buy this at regular retail price! I hope to get many years of good service from my KitchAid!
Great Value August 30, 2008 BAZ This is my first KitchenAid stand mixer. I wish that I had purchased one many years before now. It makes any mixing project so easy, and easy to use, too. I was a little hesitant to purchase a "factory reconditioned" one, but decided to try one based on other reviews and the great price. The price is what had kept me from buying one in the past, wasn't sure I would use it enough to get my money's worth. It's great for cookie dough and bread dough. I'm so glad that I made the purchase, and would recommend it highly.
Very Happy With Our Purchase August 27, 2008 P. Wiseman (Louisville, KY USA) We purchased this refurbished Kitchen Aid stand mixer after my second Eur-Pro died. My husband said it was time to invest it something better. This mixer works great and looks brand new! The bowl that comes with is real deep with tall sides. It mixing everything so well and with such little effort. I do love it. I have two complaints one is it is pretty heavy, the second there isn't much room on the sides to add ingredients as it mixes. I intend to purchase the pouring shield to see if that helps the situation. I am sure this will be the last mixer I buy.
Quality wins out August 8, 2008 Kathleen T. Crow Several times I nearly bought a cheaper brand, but since I wanted a mixer that could handle dough kneading, I finally realized I needed to stick with Kitchenaid. I purchased a refurbished one after doing a little on- line research, and it has lived up to its reputation so far. It looks brand new, and since Kitchenaid always carefully checks a machine before putting it back on the market, I felt I was not really taking much of a risk. I do recommend this prodict.
Love it! July 24, 2008 Stefani L. Ozier Packaged like a new kitchenaid. No scratches on the paint surface, however it is obvious that it was used from the inside of the bowl. i'm not concerned though, since it runs just fine.
