Product Description KitchenAid KSB560ER 5 speed blender with 56-ounce polycarbonate pitcher can crush ice at any speed. This Kitchenaid blender allows you to just blend and serve. Patented stainless steel blade chops vegetables, stirs, mixes, purees, and liquefies with its powerful 0.9 horsepower motor. Once you've used a KitchenAid blender, you'll wonder how you ever got along without one! The Intelli-Speed controls adjusts power to compensate for thicker mixtures. Features heavy, die-cast metal base which adds stability. The 56-ounce one-piece pitcher is made of commercial-grade polycarbonate. It is scratch, stain, and shatter-resistant and will last for years to come. The handle features a soft inner grip for comfortable, nonslip control. Heat resistant unique pitcher ( with graduated measurements on the side ) allows you to blend hot or cold ingredients and the contours make pouring easy. The clean touch pad is easy to clean and light on your fingers. Works well November 16, 2008 R. Blizzard Bought this brand because I heard it can chop up ice cubes - Don't start with full size ice cubes because I got that burn smell, but using the smaller ice cubes worked great. Other than that no issues. Forgot to send mail in rebate form, but even still cost was much lower still than at the big retail stores i looked for it at.
Blender like Tim Allen would build October 30, 2008 C. Burdine (Austin (the one in Texas)) This Kitchen Aid blender is great. It has 500+ Watts of power so I won't burn up another blender motor anytime soon. I like the sealed buttons, so if there's a spill it won't get down into the cracks around the buttons. When I first put it on its highest speed I was afraid it might take off like an airplane! The only downside is the blender jar and the blades are one unit - so if you tear up the blades it'll be expensive to replace them. However, given the power this thing puts out, I'm not sure the older style of blender/blade combo would hold up. This is a serious blender for people who do some blending of dense ingredients.
LOVE IT! October 28, 2008 S. Shaffer (Richmond, VA) I LOVE my new Kitchen Aid blender! It's a beautiful addition to my kitchen and works GREAT!
A nice blender October 15, 2008 M. Elahinia (Toledo, OH) This blender works like a charm. We have made a lot of fruit smoothies with it and the result has always been perfect. We had a B&D blender before, this one does a much better job in mixing everything and crushing ice....
Good Quality Blender October 6, 2008 --chris (New Jersey) Overall very pleased with new blender. Got a great deal as it was a Gold Box Special. Pros: 1. Completely dishwasher safe. 2. No need to "lock" pitcher in place. 3. Nice capacity Cons: 1. Limited number of speeds (but who realy uses 12 different speeds anyway)
