Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
8 pack of Corn Holders, 4 pairs / With patented "good grips"

Amazon.com Review
Whether your corn is right out of the pot or hot off the grill, these attractive little corn holders provide a safe way to handle it. Thanks to their soft rubber handles, a hot ear won't tumble from your fingers onto your lap, no matter how much butter you've drizzled on your corn. The strong, stainless-steel pins ensure that ears stay put between the two holders and the tines don't bend.

The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip, flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably, the pressure-absorbing, processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands, while still providing an outstanding grip. Made from the same material as dishwasher gaskets, the handles are slip-proof, wet or dry, as well as dishwasher-safe. Good Grips products are moderately priced and have won the Tylenol/Arthritis Foundation Design Award. --Laurie Notaro

5 out of 5 stars Corn on the cob holders   April 16, 2008

How can anyone eat corn without these. Less mess, no burned fingers and just an all around good product.

2 out of 5 stars Too big for corn dishes   June 10, 2007

Yes, their chunky grips make them comfy to hold. BUT, if you use corn dishes (you know, the ones made just for corn, so you can roll your ear in the butter, etc?) these will not work - since their so big they actually hold the corn high up out of the dish! If the ear can't reach the bottom of the dish then there's no butter/salt/pepper, which for me renders these useless.

We prefer the Zyliss ones that also interlock (so no poking yourself digging them out of the drawer)!

I actually prefer the old yellow corn holders. These are just too big and bulky. They are well-made but just an overkill on the size.

4 out of 5 stars Get a grip...they're just corn holders   August 1, 2006

To my knowledge, there are two sets of Oxo corn holders -- the regular "Good Grips" and the "Steel" lines. The ones I ordered from this page and received from Amazon were the "Good Grips" and they are black and yellow, like a large bumblebee(28381), the photo here is old. The "Steel" ones are black and stainless steel and cost almost twice as much(1050061). They both are great... large and sturdy and I'm satisfied with my Bumble Bees for $6.00. Good product just be aware there are 2 sets and Amazon's set up is a bit confusing. By the way, I store them in a used wine cork in the drawer as they are indeed sharp.

5 out of 5 stars Great Grips!!   June 12, 2006

I love these corn holders . Especially great for little ones hands. But I also use it for something else. And that is apples, when I peel the apple I put the holders on the ends and give it to my 3 year old . No more sticky hands. And she does know not to throw them away!
