Designed to evoke the charm of a French garden, the Fleurence pattern from Villeroy & Boch captures the relaxed contentment found in the French countryside. Clusters of fruit and cherry blossoms, laurel leaf rings in deep green, and bands of soft country yellow and pale celadon all combine to bring the airy garden feel inside. Subtle ridges, textured layers, and other sculptural elements add a touch of sophistication, enabling the collection to be used daily or for special occasions. A wonderful complement to the other tableware pieces in the French Garden line, this small square bowl can be used to serve or display food. Measuring 5-1/2 inches on each side, and standing 1 inch high, the outer rim is trimmed with a small band of soft country yellow and a ring of laurel leaves. A cluster of cherries, as well as a cherry blossom, decorate the interior of the bowl, while the Latin translation for wild cherry, Prunus Avium, is written in fine script. Crafted from vitrified porcelain to ensure durability, all Villeroy & Boch tableware pieces are resilient enough to be placed in the dishwasher and microwave.
