Love it. A bit irritating to clean (isn't that pretty much always the case with bacon grease?) but it really does the job and is attractive enough that my wife doesn't object to having it sitting on the counter near the stove.

I enjoy using it. It browns the top of what you're cooking as well as the bottom, at the same time. No need to turn over. It's also light enough for me (my choice), others might want a heavier press. The wooden handle doesn't get hot, unlike the more heavier models with metal handles.

i had never heard of a bacon weight, yet my husband had suggested he had wanted one...to my surprise i have fell in love with it...it is not only used for bacon, yet we use for paninis, grilled cheeses, quesidellas, so many kid sandwhiches, etc. being round it matches well with our cast iron griddle...we liked it so much, i bought another for my fater who is highly enjoying it....
