Solid white and unadorned, Corelle's Just White dinnerware is versatile in both appearance and design. With its simple but graceful styling, it blends well with most décors and can easily be dressed up or kept casual. Lightweight yet durable, the bowls and plates are made to stack easily and minimize storage needs. The pattern is made in a lamination process that combines two glass compositions into a material that is chip-resistant and very strong. For simplifying preparation and reheating, the dishes are also safe in the microwave and oven. With 34 pieces in all, this collection includes eight place settings, each with a 10-inch dinner plate, a 7-inch salad plate, an 18-ounce soup/cereal bowl, and an 11-ounce mug. The Corelle Livingware dinnerware is exactly what I was looking for. Very plain (all white, no design), not clunky, consisting of dinner plates, dessert plates, cups (but no saucers), soup-cereal bowls, and two serving pieces. All for $89, free shipping. About half what I expected to pay.

I had wanted a set of Corelle for years - and finally ordered this set, which I love! My decor is super modern and colors are white, taupe and black. This set, in Winter Frost White is perfect. They are "real dishes" (pretty much unbreakable, but not plastic), and I really love the modern, elegant lines (well designed). My only complaint about the set is, when I got my 8 piece set, I found that the bowls, which I had planned to use for salads, as well as other things, are much too small - although they are great little dessert bowls. No problem, I found I could order more 8 1/2" plates, for salads, at very reasonable price, so I am not unhappy, at all.
If you like simple, modern and elegant design and also need, or want something that will not break or chip easily, order this set!

Great set but it would be excellent if the coofee cups were not stoneware. I expected them to be made out of the same materials as the plates and bowls. The whole point of these items is for them to be lightweight like the rest of the set. I would still reccommend this set but be prepared for the cups to be stoneware. I also got it in a timely manner which was great.

I love this set of Corelle dinnerware - great look, extremely durable, light weight, and it's great that you get 8 sets (1 set: a dinner plate, bowl, side plate and cup) plus a large bowl and serving plate all for less than $70. Plus free 2-day shipping for Amazon Prime members, it doesn't get any better.
What I like best about Corelle dinnerware is that they're so easy to clean. Even after leaving the plate in the sink for an hour or more, bits of food on your plate just slide off as you wash it, no excessive scrubbing or those annoying dried bits still stuck to the plate after washing.
They're very durable, I've knocked them around a bit, no scratches or chips at all. I've had friends drop their Corelle plates onto the floor or sink and still no damage! I put mine in the lower tier of the dishwasher all the time, no problems there. So resilient despite them being lightweight.
I had no problems with shipping either, everything came on time and without defect. I'm definitely sticking with Corelle dinnerware from now on.

I'm so happy with these dishes-- so durable and completely lead-free. My shipment just arrived and not one piece was broken or scratched. After discovering a bunch of my dishes made in China had lead, I'm so grateful to be getting dishes made in the USA!
