Harkening back to the Renaissance, Villeroy & Boch's Cellini design celebrates the renowned artist from that era, Benvenuto Cellini. Crafted from creamy white porcelain, each piece encompasses a design sculpted in low-relief with a classical grace and elegance. Subtle columns, delicate leaves, and other regal decorations cover the pristine white on white pattern. The understated design allows for everyday use, however, the classical elements add a unique quality to the most formal occassions. This 2-quart covered dish stands 7-1/4 inches high and measures 9-3/4 inches from handle to handle. Perfect for serving vegetables or soup, the faintly sculpted pattern adorns the ample bowl, ornate handles, outer rim, and rounded finial atop the lid. Standing on a regal base, the pure white on white design adds a lovely elegance to the table.
