Dyzolv has four active agents that go to work on stains ranging from soil and grease to food and drinks. A dispersant cleans up soil-based spots while a solvent and detergent combine forces to mobilize and clean up oil-based stains. The fourth agent, another solvent, speeds up the cleaner's drying time on the carpet. Results are fairly instant as the instructions require spraying the spill and then immediately blotting it with a cloth. Dyzolv is safe for wool and stain-resistant carpets and is also pH neutral and environmentally friendly to maintain a healthy home. I was also able to get out old stains including coffee, grease from a treadmill and foot dirt as well as blood from my dog's dental surgery. I haven't seen a stain that this doesn't work on yet! In fact there was one stain my husband had scrubbed 4 times with other cleaners. He was convinced he could get it out. Finally he asked me to try with this cleaner. On the first try I came out completely!
I'm here to order more!

I bought this one 6+ months back (after reading all these great reviews) because I wanted to get rid of a stain that other removers could not..neither could Dyzolv. Does this remove other stains ? yes but so does a $2 stain remover (Gonzo, red+white bottle) that I bought from a local hardware shop. Both performed the same so why pay 6 times more ? BTW, the spray doesn't work. I had to move the contents to another spray can. Looks like I'm not the only one having this problem. Spend your extra cash on gas instead.

This cleaner gets pretty much every stain out of your carpet! Our dogs have gone to the bathroom on the carpet, the have brought in mud, and my husband brought in oil on his shoes - all have been taken out of the carpet with Dysolv Spot Cleaner!
I received a bottle when we purchased the Dyson vacuum, and I just ordered two more bottles so I don't run out anytime soon.

First off, yes the product cleans very well. I'm a fan of Dyson products. But here's the downside.
Why do the spray mechanisms always break??? I mean ALWAYS! Our family must have bought over a dozen of these cans, over a span of a few years (not all at one time). And opening up the purple top of a new one, the sprayer is either already broken or breaks within a couple of uses. I'm assuming the people at Dyson use their own products. I find it absurd that they've let this go on for years now.
One solution is to dump all the stuff into a generic spray bottle. But I can't be sure if the chemicals do something to other types of bottles or gets screwed up when you transfer it. At this price, I expect more. Especially when there are other products out there that do the job too.

I received this with my vacuum cleaner purchase. I'd had it for a couple of years before I ever even thought to use it. Had some inexplicable mystery brown stain in the guest bedroom. Had the carpet professionally cleaned. It never entered my head the carpet cleaner wouldn't get the stain out immediately. He came to me and said he had no idea what that stain was but he'd tried everything he knew and couldn't get out. Other dirty spots in the carpet came out just fine, but he couldn't get that spot out. He told me I'd probably have to have that section cut out and patched.
After he left, I decided to try this cleaner on that spot. Five minutes later, the spot was totally gone. So as far as I can tell, this stuff works great!
