I have ordered the rectangular dishes but haven't received them yet. I know I will love them because I have the round set. They work like a pressure cooker or steamer in the microwave. Vegetables cook in less time and all of the nutrients remain in the veggies just as they would by using a steamer. Can't wait to add these rectangular ones to my cookware. They are the perfect size for two people.

I looked at the picture- didn't read. No wonder it was so cheap. I thought I might use to marinate meat. Perhaps a cocktail wiener or a half piece of bacon. But it is my fault and since they are saying plastic is poison now- anything I can stick in glass is good.

The container is large and heavy considering how little it holds. Doesn't stack well in the cabinet.

The actual measurement of this item is 5 3/8 X 3 1/8. The specified size is 10 x 7.8 x 1.1 inches. The useful capacity is about a cup and a quarter. It would accommodate a couple of leftover chicken wings but not a fish fillet, which was my intended use.

I am so happy to find these storage containers on your website! I went back to the original place where I purchased them to get some more and I was disappointed to find that the store no longer carried this item. I use glass storage containers rather than plastic storage containers. It is easy to find larger glass storage containers, but I've found that smaller ones are scarce as hens teeth. This size is ideal for leftovers that are too much to throw away, but not enough to take up space in the fridge stored in a big container.
